Hyperline is progressively rolling out a subscription templates module, which introduces a new way to preconfigure subscriptions with their full set of options and capabilities.Plans are deprecated and are scheduled to be removed. Use subscription templates instead to benefit from the latest features and improvements.
In Hyperline, a plan is a set of products with pre-configured prices, subscription and invoicing options. Use them to represent your packaged offering in a structured way with customer-facing naming. Plans work as a template for subscriptions: when you select the plan in the subscription assignment flow, Hyperline pre-fills the subscription configuration. When assigning a subscription, you can customize all information inherited from the plan without affecting the original plan.

Configuration

You can give a plan a name that your customers see on their portal. The internal description, as its name suggests, is for internal use and isn’t displayed to customers.

Contract settings

You can set a contract duration in relative terms (events for contract start date, duration, or forever for the contract end date). If not set, the contract duration will be toggled off by default.

Invoicing settings

You can toggle on and configure all invoicing settings such as generate draft invoices and generate documents by default.

Products

A plan must contain at least one product, and up to an infinite number of products. These products can inherit from pricing configuration (payment interval, schedule, price per unit, name and description) previously set in the product catalog, or customized for this plan only.
When your account supports multiple currencies, you can configure pricing for each one by selecting the desired currency from the dropdown.

Plan update

When you update a plan (adding/removing/editing a product, for example), Hyperline does not automatically update the subscriptions with the plan assigned.
