Modjo is a conversation intelligence platform that records, transcribes, and analyzes customer calls and video meetings. Connecting Modjo lets Hyperline attach your recorded customer conversations to the matching Hyperline customers, so the customer monitoring agent can combine what was said on a call with contract, subscription, invoice, payment, and usage data.
Modjo is part of Customer intelligence, a paid add-on. The Modjo card only appears in Settings > Integrations when Customer intelligence is enabled for your account. Contact the Hyperline team through the in-app chat to enable it.

Prerequisites

  • A valid Modjo account with calls recorded in your workspace.
  • A Modjo Public API key, created from your Modjo settings. Modjo restricts key creation to the Administrator and Manager roles.
  • Admin rights on your Hyperline account.
The key is issued at workspace level and covers every call in your Modjo workspace. Hyperline attributes calls to customers across the whole workspace, so a credential limited to a single user would only ever surface that user’s calls.

Connect Modjo

1

In Modjo, create a Public API key

Open your Modjo settings, go to Integrations > Public API, and generate a key. Copy it immediately, as Modjo only displays it once.
2

In Hyperline, navigate to the Settings > Integrations page

3

Search for Modjo and click Connect

4

Paste your Modjo API key and confirm

Hyperline validates the key immediately and rejects it if it is invalid or revoked. If Modjo cannot be reached at that moment, Hyperline asks you to try again instead of reporting the key as invalid.
5

That's it!

The integration appears as connected and Hyperline starts matching Modjo calls to Hyperline customers.
The connection is read-only. Hyperline never creates, edits, or deletes anything in Modjo.

What Hyperline fetches

For every matched call, Hyperline stores: Hyperline does not download audio or video recordings. Only the details, summary, and transcript listed above are stored.

Which calls are considered

Hyperline syncs calls recorded in your Modjo workspace, whether they come from a video meeting or from a call placed in Modjo. A call Modjo is still processing is stored without a transcript, and Hyperline retrieves it on a later run once Modjo has finished generating it. A call whose transcript Modjo has deleted under your retention policy is kept as a meeting record, without transcript.

Which calls are matched

Modjo cannot filter calls by participant, so Hyperline scans the workspace and matches locally. A call is attached to a customer when at least one participant email corresponds to:
  • the customer Domain, meaning any participant using an email address on that domain
  • the customer Billing email
  • one of the customer Invoice emails
  • a contact email synced from a connected CRM
Calls that cannot be matched to a customer are not stored.
Keep customer Domain and Billing email values up to date. They are the main signals used to attach a Modjo call to the right customer.

Summaries

Modjo produces one summary per summary template configured in your workspace, so a single call can carry several. Hyperline keeps the most detailed one. When a transcript is available but Modjo has not produced a summary, Hyperline generates one from the transcript.

Synchronization

Hyperline synchronizes Modjo in three ways:
  • On connection: a first synchronization starts as soon as the integration is connected, so recent calls appear without waiting for the next daily run.
  • Daily workspace synchronization: once a day, Hyperline reviews recent Modjo calls and attaches the new ones to the matching customers.
  • On-demand customer synchronization: a refresh is also triggered when the customer monitoring agent analyzes a customer, and when you click Sync meetings from the customer’s Modjo panel.
Synchronization is incremental. Once a first run has stored calls, later runs only look at what is newer, and a transcript already downloaded is never downloaded twice.
The first run covers the history available in your workspace, keeping the most recent calls, and each run fetches a bounded number of transcripts. A Modjo workspace with a large history is therefore backfilled progressively over successive runs rather than in a single pass.

Where Modjo data appears

  • Customer page: the Integrations section shows a Modjo row with the most recent meeting. Open it to browse synced meetings with their participants, summary, and transcript, or to trigger Sync meetings.
  • Monitoring agent: enable Modjo from the agent’s Connectors tab to let it use call context. See Customer monitoring agent.
  • Analysis results: Modjo appears under Data sources when call context was used for an analysis.

Manage the integration

Open Settings > Integrations and select Modjo to review the connection status. Synchronization errors, such as a revoked key, are reported on this page. Use Disconnect to stop synchronizing new calls. Revoke the API key in Modjo as well if you want to invalidate it entirely.
