Google Meet is Google’s video conferencing service. When meeting transcription or the Gemini Take notes for me feature is enabled, each call can produce a transcript or a notes document. Connecting Google Meet lets Hyperline attach your customer meetings to the matching Hyperline customers, so the customer monitoring agent can combine what was said on a call with contract, subscription, invoice, payment, and usage data.
Google Meet is part of Customer intelligence, a paid add-on. Contact the Hyperline team through the in-app chat to enable it.
Google Meet is user-scoped: each teammate connects their own Google account from Profile > Integrations, not from the workspace-level Settings > Integrations page. Hyperline only sees the meetings of the users who connected.

Prerequisites

  • A Google account with access to the calendar and meetings you want Hyperline to read.
  • Transcription or Gemini notes enabled on the meetings you want transcripts for. Without either, Hyperline can still record that the meeting happened, but has no content to analyze.

Connect Google Meet

1

In Hyperline, open Profile > Integrations

2

Click Connect on Google Meet

3

Choose your Google account and review the requested access

4

Confirm

You are redirected back to Hyperline and the connection appears as active for your user.
Google Meet and Gmail are two separate connections that share nothing. You can share your calendar and meetings without sharing your mailbox, and the other way round.

Requested permissions

Hyperline does not request access to Google Drive and cannot browse your files. The notes document is reached only through the calendar event or the meeting itself. The connection is read-only. Hyperline never creates or modifies calendar events, meetings, or documents.

What Hyperline fetches

Recordings themselves are never downloaded. When Gemini notes exist, Hyperline prefers them: they contain both a written summary and the verbatim transcription, and they do not expire. Hyperline generates the meeting summary from whichever content it retrieved.
Google deletes Meet transcripts 30 days after the call. A meeting older than that cannot be backfilled unless a Gemini notes document was produced, so connect before the calls you care about, not after.

Which meetings are matched

Meetings are attached to a customer when an attendee uses an email address on the customer Domain. Meetings that cannot be matched to a customer are not stored as customer meetings.
Keep customer Domain values up to date. The attendee domain is the signal used to attach a meeting to the right customer.

Synchronization

Hyperline synchronizes calendars and meeting content once a day, for every user who connected their Google account. Meetings already stored are not fetched again.

Where Google Meet data appears

  • Customer page: synced meetings appear with their participants, summary, and transcript. Calendar meetings without a recording are listed alongside recorded ones.
  • Monitoring agent: enable Google Meet from the agent’s Connectors tab. See Customer monitoring agent.
  • Analysis results: Google Meet appears under Data sources when call context was used.

Manage the connection

Open Profile > Integrations to review or remove your own connection. Disconnecting stops Hyperline from reading your calendar and meetings. Each teammate manages their own connection, so removing yours does not affect anyone else’s.
