Learn about currency settings in Hyperline.
The Hyperline API always represents currencies using their three-letter ISO 4217 code (see a complete list here). It accepts and returns integer amounts in the currency’s smallest unit. For European currencies, this means that Hyperline represents amounts in cents. To convert an amount with decimals into its Hyperline format, multiply it by 100. For example, Hyperline represents an amount of €34.17 (Euro, a two-decimal currency) as 3417. Hyperline also supports zero-decimal currencies and three-decimal currencies. In this case, you need to apply the right multiplier (or none). For example, Hyperline represents an amount of F CFA 12065 (West African CFA franc, a zero-decimal currency) as 12065.
